Going to the Chapel.

So It's been a very long time since I last posted on this thing. I think my job and my personal life have been keeping me very busy.

I just wanted everyone to know that I have finally finished my invitations! With the addressing skills of my parents we mailed most of the wedding invitations yesterday. I suppose this means it's official!

Although I complain about the tiny imperfections in the invites, I truly am pleased with how they turned out. I made a LOT of mistakes along the way. I learned never to print anything with e-mail addresses if you don't already own the address. I also learned, specify when special ordering, you may end up with WAY too much of something.

But no need to dwell, they are finished and exactly what I had in mind. They aren't traditional in any way, but I think they really set the tone for the nature of our wedding.

Now that most of the stressful details are handled we're just working on the smaller details to pass the time. My days now are filled with running through music samplers trying to find the right music since we aren't having a DJ.

And just so you all know, Pat will be home in 72 days! Really just 2 months and 10 days. I can't wait, nor can I stand it.

A friend of mine had the best example of what the waiting feels like. It's like when you have to go to the bathroom really bad and you're waiting and waiting until you get the restroom. But as soon as you get through the front door you can hardly stand it. It's like your body knows how close you are to the toilet.

Awkward, but I couldn't have put it better!
